In order to promote traditional Chinese agricultural culture, to popularize knowledge of agricultural science, and to propagate and raise the social influence of CAM, from the end of 2009 to the beginning of 2010, CAM organized a series of activities for students. On December 26th, 2009, “Agriculture Science Excursion for Beijing and Hong Kong Students” started, organized by CAM, and the Beijing Green Culture Exchange Association. More than 70 students from Hong Kong University, Hong Kong Chinese University, Hong Kong Science & Technology University, and Beijing Institute of Technology, had great fun visiting the CAM displays, and taking part in traditional agricultural activities, such as dying handkerchiefs and making dumplings. On January 20th, 2010, hundreds of teenagers were invited to the CAM exhibitions, watched “24 Solar Terms” in the Three Screens Cinema. In all, students experienced many colorful and interesting activities, such as dying, weaving, and threshing; in addition, small-scale knowledge contest gave them much fun, too.
